CLARENCE RIVER FERRIES - OUR VESSELS
The Clarence River Ferries have a fleet of two boats, The MV 'Mirigini' built in 1973 and the MV 'Clarence Head' built in 1945.

| The Mirigini is a timber vessel,60 feet long with a beam of 20 feet and a draught of 6 feet.The ferry is powered be a 8 cyclinder Gardner diesel engine. Until the purchase of the Mirigini by the Clarence River Ferries in September 2002, the ferry worked on the Pittwater and Hawksberry River and occasionally on the Sydney Harbour as a charter vessel. |

| The Clarence Head is 56 feet in length, beam 18 feet and a draught of 4.5 feet. The original motor was a Gardner diesel which was replaced in 1999 with a G M diesel six cylinder. The ferry was built to transport ammuniton for the U.S. Air Force, due to the end of the war it was never used for this purpose. In 1946 the ferry was converted into a passenger ferry and purchased in 1986. |
